Hello! I’m Ms. Janel! 

I’m excited to be teaching fourth grade at Ocean Shores Elementary! 

My degree is in Elementary Education, Interdisciplinary Studies.  

I chose a career in education because I believe that after being a parent, teaching is one of the most important jobs in life and I wanted more than a "job." I believe that all children, despite their socioeconomic status, learning style or ethnicity, have the inherent right to receive the best education available to them. By providing a solid education, teachers can make a difference toward the future growth and development for ALL children.

My favorite thing to do in my free time is go for walks on the beach, spend as much time as possible with my son, and make jewelry!
