Hello! I am the Special Education teacher at Ocean Shores Elementary. School year 2024-25 starts my seventh year here and my 35th year teaching special education. Previously I taught in Boise, Idaho. 

I grew up on Vashon Island where I met and married my husband, Frank, 42 years ago. We moved to Rexburg, Idaho to attend Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) and then transferred to Boise State University. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement in 1991. We raised 5 children in Boise and were foster parents for another 40 children over several years. We have 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 1 to 15. 

I love spending time on the beach with my husband, son Cody, and our dogs. I also enjoy playing the flute and singing in our church choir. I am currently our choir director and used to conduct a women's choir in Boise. When I have time, I love reading inspirational stories.
