Ms. Kaylee Nguyen

Hello, I am a second grade teacher at Ocean Shores Elementary School!

My name is Kaylee Nguyen, I am a new teacher to OSE as of last year and currently teaching second grade. I grew up and have lived in the Grays Harbor for most of my life, currently living in Montesano, and really enjoy the privilege of teaching the students in the area. Recently, I completed my education through Grays Harbor College, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Teacher Education degree. 

Apart from school, I try to spend as much time as I can with my family and friends, who are such an important part of my life. I am fortunate to have majority of them in the area, allowing me to see them as often as I can manage. In addition, I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, games, and random adventures.

One aspect of teaching I have enjoyed most so far, are the connections I have formed with some of the students. I value the friendships developed with many of them, and look forward to it continuing. Even in my short time here, I have been able to bond with so many students, not just in my classroom, and am grateful to be part of their education experience. It is rewarding to see them develop and grow, not only in the classroom but preparing for life.
